Experience Overview

You’ll find that my work and education history is non-linear. I’ve taken the opportunity to fill my life with interesting opportunities and experiences. A few examples:

  • In 1998 I started working professionally using Flash to create motion graphics for the web, teaching myself HTML, Photoshop, and other tools.

  • From 2005 - 2006 I took a year off to create, write, explore, and travel.

  • In 2008 I jumped into full-time mentorship as I was recruited to teach design at a college in Dallas.

  • In 2012 I moved to corporate innovation and eventually ran the Labs group at one of the largest travel tech companies in the world.

My career has been filled with diverse design projects, entrepreneurial ventures, innovation and invention, creative expression, and consistent sharing. These collective experiences play to my strengths. I tend toward roles where I can use a variety of skills to solve problems and bolster a team; including the ability to ramp up quickly in new domains.

An outline of my work history is below. In the Work submenu, you can explore some of the experiences I’ve created and problems I’ve tackled over the years.

Thank you for your interest in my work!
