Work Overview

You’ll find that my work and education history is non-linear. I’ve taken the opportunity to fill my life with interesting opportunities and experiences. A few examples:

  • In 1998 I started working professionally using Flash to create motion graphics for the web, teaching myself HTML, Photoshop, and other tools.

  • From 2005 - 2006 I took more than a year off to create, write, explore, and travel.

  • In 2008 I jumped into full-time mentorship as I was recruited to teach design at a college in Dallas.

  • In 2012 I jumped to corporate innovation and eventually ran the Labs group at one of the largest travel tech companies.

My career has been filled with entrepreneurial ventures, innovation and invention, art projects, and conference presentations. These collective experiences play to my strengths: I tend toward roles where I can use a variety of skills to solve a problem and/or bolster a team; including the ability to learn on the fly.

A brief outline of my work history is below, with details available on LinkedIn. In the Work submenu you can explore a few of the products I’ve worked on and problems I’ve tackled over the years.

Thank you for your interest in my work!
